Client feasibility studies, budgets, pro formas, bids, drawing critiques, subcontractor negotiations, contracts and change orders, permitting, scheduling and billing are just some of the client services that Jon helps us manage.

And it’s that fulfillment he gets that drives him each day to manage the many minute details it takes to put it all together.

Jon’s background makes him a perfect fit for his current position, with extensive field experience, including:

  • Joined the J. Raymond team in 1999 as a Project Manager.
  • Previously served for 6 impressive years as a Project Manager for a large retail-oriented construction firm in Arkansas, Vratsinas, where he was responsible for the management of multiple ongoing projects for clients such as Circuit City, PetCo, Ross Dress for Less, Ralph’s, Michaels Crafts, Staples, Long’s Drugs and Central Bank & Trust in Little Rock, Arkansas. These projects range in size from $500,000 to $26,000,000.
  • Has managed many notable projects as a part of our team, including the construction of a Books-A-Million and several retail spaces in Orlando; 5 Circuit City’s; Bed, Bath & Beyond in Ft. Myers; Office Depot in Orange City; 20 PETsMART remodels; CompUSA and Goodyear Auto in Pembroke Pines; the 45,000-square-foot master-development of Victoria Park Shoppes in Ft. Lauderdale; the 9-acre retail development of Northlake Square, in Palm Beach Gardens; Mainstreet at Midtown, in Palm Beach Gardens, including eleven buildings and a 2-story parking garage.
  • Graduated from the M.E. Rinker School of Building Construction at the University of Florida with honors.
  • Is a LEED Accredited Professional.

With everything he has going on, how does he manage to keep it all together? “I’m very organized, like a directory tree in a computer, that’s how I think.” His detail-oriented approach, along with his fabulous support staff, is a winning combination that allows J. Raymond to provide our owners with the best information and support possible during the pre-construction phase of their important and exciting projects.

Jon is also an avid University of Florida Gator fan, who enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and playing with his dogs.
